Stop the clock: terms and conditions

Key terms: Free to play. One go per person. Stop the clock at exactly 8.43 seconds to win £100. Maximum 2 prizes per day; once they're won, you can still play for fun but no cash prize is available that day. Winners must complete a free, no-obligation 15-minute consultation call within 30 days to claim.

1. Promoter

Choros.io Limited (company number 16014661), Parc Dewi Sant, Job's Well Road, Carmarthen, Wales ("Choros", "we").

2. Who can play

  1. Open to UK residents aged 18 or over attending the event at which the Choros stand is exhibiting ("the Event") on 14 and 15 October 2026.
  2. Choros staff, their families and anyone professionally connected with the promotion cannot play.
  3. One go per person for the whole Event, checked against email address and mobile number. Duplicate or false entries will be disqualified.

3. How to play

  1. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Complete the short questionnaire on the Choros stand device and accept these terms.
  2. After a 3-second countdown a clock starts on the screen. The clock is hidden after 3 seconds. Press STOP on the stand device when you think the target time of 8.43 seconds has passed.
  3. Your time is measured by the stand device to one hundredth of a second, and that measurement is the official time.
  4. If a technical fault affects your go, a member of the Choros team may give you a replacement go.

4. Prizes

  1. A player who stops the clock at exactly the target time (to the hundredth of a second) wins £100 cash, paid by bank transfer.
  2. A maximum of 2 prizes is available on each day of the Event. Prizes go to the first winning goes on each day. Once a day's prizes are won, the game may continue for fun with no cash prize for the rest of that day. The stand screen shows how many prizes are left.
  3. No alternative prize is offered. Prizes are not transferable.

5. Claiming a prize

  1. Winners will be emailed at the end of the day they win, using the email address they entered.
  2. To claim, the winner must book and complete a free 15-minute consultation call with Choros within 30 days of that email. There is no cost and no obligation to buy anything, and the prize is paid whether or not you buy anything.
  3. We will pay the prize within 7 days of the consultation call. We may ask for proof of identity and bank details to pay the prize.
  4. If a winner does not complete the consultation call within 30 days of the winner email, despite at least one reminder, the prize will be forfeited.

6. Your data

We use the details you enter to run this promotion, contact winners, and send the free AI Business Report if you ask for it. We will only send you marketing if you ticked the box to agree to it, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Your information is handled in line with UK data protection law. Contact us to access or delete your data.

7. General

  1. We will only publish a winner's name or business with their permission. On request, we will give the first name and county of winners.
  2. We may amend or cancel this promotion only where circumstances outside our reasonable control make it necessary, and will tell players as soon as possible.
  3. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
